This is the most important area of your EdTech IT life.  This is the area that I will cover the most.

Recently I attended a webinar where the IT Leader said something like “90% of my time I am working directly with people and not technology, and I am lying about the other 10%”.  Not sure if that was a quote he heard or not so I cannot give an attribution.

It is so true that working with people is important and that we spend a lot of time (90%?) on interactions with people as leaders in IT.

We will be discussing many, many areas related to working on people skills in future posts.  Some of the topics will include: motivation, negotiation, delegation, managing, hiring and firing, mentoring, correcting, developing, encouraging and so much more.
